In 2006, my world was shattered by the devastating loss of my 22-year-old son to a workplace fatality. I found myself struggling to cope from hour to hour, let alone day-to-day.
To say that I felt lost and alone is an understatement.
Over the years, I have navigated the turbulent waters of deep grief. I have worked hard to take steps necessary to for me to learn to heal, progressing from mere survival to truly thriving.
Along this journey, I've discovered invaluable lessons and insights. Importantly, I’ve learned that there is always more to learn, and more ways to grow.
That pain fueled purpose.
For almost two decades, I’ve spoken to thousands across Canada about the ripple effects of workplace injuries, fatalities, and occupational illness, and the power of prevention, empathy, and community.
And I have turned my healing into a mission to help others navigate the messiest, most meaningful parts of life by sharing stories and offering tools that support healing and growth.
Today, I guide others through what I call Transformative Journeys to Growth and Resilience™, creating space for honest conversations around navigating adversity, building resilience, and simply finding yourself again after everything changes.
I help people reconnect with their inner strength and remember that even after the hardest things… life still holds beauty, meaning, and possibility.
Through workshops, speaking, and my podcast, I share grounded tools and reflections for those navigating life after loss, identity shifts, or emotional upheaval.
My work blends lived experience with mindfulness, humour, and honest storytelling - rooted in the belief that we are never too old, too broken, or too late to grow.
Join me on this Transformative Journey as we explore how to grow through change and challenge, working together to become better versions of ourselves.
